Role Overview
The Aseptic Compounding Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in preparing sterile medications in a controlled cleanroom environment.
This position requires strict adherence to USP <797> standards, precision in compounding, and a strong commitment to patient safety, quality, and compliance.

What You’ll Do
Maintain a Clean, Compliant Lab Environment
Perform detailed cleaning of sterile and non-sterile compounding areas
Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
Ensure all workspaces, surfaces, and equipment are always audit-ready
Support Equipment & Supply Readiness
Clean and maintain compounding equipment, glassware, and reusable materials
Properly store and organize clean equipment for operational use
Assist with inventory tracking of cleaning and lab supplies
Prevent Contamination & Ensure Safety
Follow all safety procedures and cleaning protocols
Identify and report any risks related to contamination or equipment condition
Support a controlled, organized, and compliant lab environment
Support Daily Operations
Assist with waste removal and proper disposal procedures
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure workflow efficiency
Respond to cleaning and equipment needs in real time

Prior cleaning or laboratory experience preferred
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in cleaning, warehouse, or lab environments preferred
